Before stepping into real estate, she spent 35 distinguished years as a hospital pharmacist — primarily at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, then at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian. Her career was defined by precision, trust, and an unwavering commitment to the people in her care.

That commitment started even earlier. Denise served as a U.S. Army Medical Service Corps Officer from 1981 to 1987, completing three years of active duty before transitioning to the reserves — a chapter of her life that instilled the discipline, integrity, and calm under pressure that she brings to every real estate transaction today. She further gave back to her community as an EMT with the Ashcake Rescue Squad in Mechanicsville for eight years.
